Having been the youngest in the Class of ’67, I have maintained my relative immaturity to the present day. Spent a non-productive year at the ANU doing Science, then did a Cheryl and changed to Medicine at Sydney, which was the right thing. Worked hard, learnt a little, married late in life, am now a Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist in Sydney, and financial support system to a good sized family. Happier than I’ve ever been, got my regrets controlled and buried, still have nightmares about waking up before an English exam, not having read the right book! The solitude of my youth has changed to a life of noise and laughter. I’m a lucky man! Back to 'Report Cards' |
