Ian McIntosh

Two major events have meant most to me since leaving school, coming into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and marrying Helen.

I completed a BA at University of NSW where I also became a Christian. I spent five years in Adelaide receiving training with a Christian Missionary Organisation and working in the Medical Social Work field. During this time I also got married. We moved to Sydney in 1978 to work with University students which we continued doing up till three years ago. I now work with business men, Chinese academics and our own staff in the areas of personal development, counselling, training and mentoring, having undertaken some more study in these areas along the way. I also travel around Asia from time to time doing consultancy work. Helen and I have five children; — three girls and two boys ranging from 20 down to 11 years of age.

My ‘hobby’ over the years has been renovating and extending our home to cope with our growing family needs and also the many people with whom we are involved.
