Jane Wheeler

I am pleased to report a very happy 30 years.

I spent at least 15 years working for NASA at Honeysuckle Creek, Orroral Valley and Tidbinbilla Space Tracking Stations in the ACT — a great adventurous spirit showing for someone who was raised in Tharwa! Spent 3 years working for the US Information Service — very interesting — about 6 years working in the real estate industry — apart from the people I worked with, a not an overly enjoyable experience. I am currently working as Office Administrator for CSC (Computer Science Corporation) an IT company with 120 staff and a very busy time here in Canberra with the current government outsourcing.

A bit about my adventurous side — I have travelled overseas lots of times, spending over two years touring and working in the USA and one year in the UK and Europe. The last trip was in June this year, a 6 week tour with the highlights being France, Spain and Italy.

I met my wonderful husband Mick 19 years ago and married him 11 years ago, can't rush these things. We have two beautiful daughters Sarah 27 and Lizette 25.

For the past 5 years we have all run in the City to Surf — my masochistic side.

I keep in touch with Judy Thompson, Lou Elsom, Helen Trevillian and Jan Oddy, and also meet up with Alan Towill through a mutual friend from time to time.
