When ’67 was over, I went to Sydney to study Arts at UNSW. I lived in Sydney for 4 years returned to Canberra, completed a DipEd at CCAE and started teaching at Higgins Primary. When I left teaching to have a family, I became involved part-time with the Health Commission (as it was called then). I was highly involved in group work and co-ordinated, participated and led many many hours of groups and associated activities for both government and volunteer agencies. After my youngest child started school, I returned to teaching and now work at Lyneham primary School. This year I am teaching Year 1. I am married to the same bloke I started with in 1971 and together we have four children, two girls and two boys ranging in age from 22–16. The eldest is working at DSS in Tuggeranong, the second is a 2nd years Science student at ANU and the two younger are still at school, years 11 and 10 respectively. Back to 'Report Cards' |
