Jenny Ingram

Life after school. Trained as a Pathology Technician in anberra. Had a 2 year Working Holiday in the UK and Europe 1974 and 1975. Played lots of netball, representing the ACT for many years.

Moved to the South Coast 1980. Started up and still operating a Garage Door Business with my husband John.

Now living near Kalaru near Bega. Have two sons aged 19 and 17 — both keen sportsmen.

Don’t think my interests have changed since school. Still swim and play netball. Had to take up swimming again because of a back problem. Have held Australian Masters Records and once won a Masters World Championship (but there was no great opposition at the Meet). Also teach adults to swim.

Very involved with the local Netball Club. Still play — very sedately; but mostly coach teams and representative teams.
