Please send any thoughts on these subjects and say if you are likely to attend the
meeting by email to:
admin@telopea67.org.
Possibly coming to the Reunion?
Some have indicated that they will possibly attend the Reunion. Now is the
time to decide. If you are listed as 'possibly' attending but have decided

Telopea67 website
The 'Search' option on the website didn't perform properly in recent days.
This was due to the code for the local server being uploaded instead of
the code for the live server. The error was discovered when attempting
to demonstrate the search to an interested party. The error has been fixed.
It would be good to get more 'Personal updates' for the website prior to
the Reunion. Send 80 to 90 words plus a recent photo saying what you have
been doing over recent years. If you do not have a digital photo, send
the text and we will 'snap' you at the Reunion.

Not coming to the Reunion?
Many who have said that they will not be attending the Reunion will be
overseas at the time of the event. It is hoped that we will have future
get togethers so those who have missed out this time will have an
opportunity to meet up with old friends. Some have chosen not to respond
to the emails or letters that have been sent out. After this eNewsletter
their names will be taken from the mailing list so we are not seen to be
pestering them.

Tony Rossiter has submitted a wonderful article for
the 'Memories' page on the website at
www.telopea67.org.
Read about his and others exploits entering science competitions and
what they have achieved later in life.
Do you have a memory of your school days? Why not submit an article.
Or how about adding to the 'Personal updates' page. Send 80 to 90 words
plus a recent photo saying what you have been doing over recent years.

The website has moved quite quickly to having had over 2000 visitors. Some of these
have been from the indexing robots dispatched by search companies such as Google.
New at
www.telopea67.org is a website
'Search' option. As this is a small website, pages are searched 'on the fly' as opposed to
searching through a pre-indexed file. The search is still relatively quick. Try entering your
surname to see on how many pages your name appears. Entering two words will create an 'OR'
search. Hopefully, the search feature will become more sophisticated in the future.
eNewsletter 5 — 5th September 2007
40 year reunion plans
Despite a number of requests to register interest in attending a 40 year
Reunion on 17th November 2007 at the National Press Club,
the numbers fall short to hold the event at that venue. As a few new names
have been added to the email contact list in the past week the deadline
for registering your interest has been extended until the 15th September.
That date is two months out from the planned Reunion and if the numbers
do not meet the required number by then the plans will be CANCELLED.

The email mailing list for this eNewsletter currently has 74 contacts and
is likely to grow as reponses to a 'snail mail' letter come through. Four
people who were at the 30 Year Reunion but whose contact details have
changed are Leonie Finch (nee Gladwin), Sandy Honey (formerly Sandra Miller),
Tony Stewart and Philip Stoddart. If anyone can supply

eNewsletter 4 — 26th August 2007
40 year reunion plans
Thanks to those who responded to last week's request to register your
interest in attending a 40 year Reunion on 17th November 2007
at the National Press Club. Unfortunately, the numbers are still not
sufficient to meet the requirements of the venue. As a few new names
have been added to the email contact list in the past week the deadline
for registering your interest has been extended for one week.
If you have not already said whether you are interested in attending
the Reunion or not, please do so by Friday 31 August.
This will be the final plee for expressions of interest and if the numbers
do not meet the set number the plans will be cancelled.
Please respond either by reply email or with an entry in the
Guestbook.
How you can help
The number of 'missing persons' listed on the 'Where are they?' page has
been reduced with email addresses being found, family contacts located or
possible addresses to write to. Thanks to all those who helped with clues
and suggestions where to look. Please check the
'Where are they?' page on the website and see if you can help
with some of the remaining 'missing persons'.
If you have verbally said you intend to come to the Reunion why not leave a
message saying so in the
Guestbook. This way, others will know that you are coming.
Would those who said they would try and find contact details for 'missing persons'
please forward any information you have as time is running out to give people
ample notice regarding the Reunion plans.
eNewsletter 3 — 19th August 2007
40 year reunion plans
At Reunion Planning meetings on 15th and 16th August it was decided to
move the date of the planned Reunion to 17th November
as the earlier date of 3rd November was inconvienient for many. The
Telopea Park School Fete will still be held on 3rd November. This is a
popular event with a multicultural flavour and lots of interesting food
stalls. To those locally, please consider attending this event and
support the P&Cs fundraising activities.
The Reunion will be held in the National Room of the
National Press Club on National Circuit.
Drinks followed by dinner is planned to start at 7.00pm. We are in the
process of deciding the menu and beverages but through Press Club member,
Tony Bandle, we have secured a very good arrangement. The National Room
should prove to be a wonderful venue for our Reunion.
Urgent
Very few have responded to the previous eNewsletter's request for
expressions of interest regarding having a Reunion. As it is less than
three months to the planned event it is important to know that a
sufficient number will attend to make it worthwhile pursuing arrangements.
So far, only 14 out of 54 that have been emailed have indicated their
support for a Reunion either verbally or through the
Guestbook. We will not go to the time and expense of
writing to those we do not have email addresses for unless we get a more
positive response from those we are emailing.
If you have not already expressed your opinion, whether you can attend the
Reunion or not, please do so by Friday 24 August.
Telopea67 website
www.telopea67.org received its 1000th visitor late on Monday 6th August. This is
a worthwhile achievement in the four months the website has been live since email
news of the project has only reached about half of the number of tudents from
1967. Some visit counters give a false impression of website traffic in that they
record a 'hit' each time a visitor views the page where the counter is located.
This counter only records a single 'hit' no matter how many times you pass the
Home page in a session. Thanks to all those who have supported this project and
please keep coming back.
eNewsletter 2 — 6th August 2007

and Telopea's Mystery Painting plus contributions from Alan Towill and Geoff Kingston. A
new page titled 'Personal updates' contains information about old friends and what they
have been doing over the last 10 years. A new feature is the 'Telopea Trivia Quiz' which
asks 20 multiple-choice questions. Three points are gained for a correct answer and
one point is deducted for a wrong answer. Bonus points are awarded the quicker you
complete the quiz. Have a go, but you'd better do some swatting as it is tough!
40 year reunion plans
Very few have responded to the previous eNewsletter's request for expressions of
interest regarding having a 40 year reunion on the evening of Saturday
3rd November which is the day the Telopea Park School holds is annual
fete, 'Le Burp'. As it is less than three months to the planned event it is
