Organising the 1997 Reunion

We’re planning a reunion.

It all started with David Brown… then a few others joined in the search. Suddenly we had found over 80 people out of 120, and renewed a few friendships on the way.

And now there’s a committee... Judy Prosser, Judi Preston-Stanley, David Brown and Sue Cusbert-Boyle in Sydney, and Peter Franklin, Jim Gillespie, Angus Hall and Alan Towill in Canberra.

We bet if you thought 30 years ago about who would be organising a reunion, you would not have come up with this eclectic mix!

Enough preamble. The abovementioned are organising a reunion of the 1967 Higher School Certificate and the 1965 School Certificate (Whydham guinea pigs) class from Telopea Park High School. It’s booked for 15 November, including a tour of the school, dinner at what was the 'Wello', (and is now a Rydges hotel), followed by a brunch on Sunday 16th.

Naturally we’d like an indication as soon as possible (not confirmation at this stage) of your interest in attending the 'do'.

We have attached a list of those who were still there in 1967. If you can help out with addresses, married names, or someone who may know the whereabouts of those we have not yet contacted, we’d be grateful. This includes people who were with us, but not there for the entire 6 years.
