Stephanie Day

I married Jim while still at ANU, and still are — 26 years on. First we went to Townsville for five years and my son Sam was born (he’s now 21!). Then had four years in Papua New Guinea. Produced Kate (now 18). Back to Australia and four years in Kalgoorlie. Jim is a geologist and it has treated us well. For the past 12 years we have stayed put in Perth and I’ve been in the same job all that time. I’m a secondary high school teacher at a girls’ private college. Love travelling — we have a four wheel drive and have driven and camped across most of Australia.
